Enzo Fabbiano

Self-taught painter (as a child I followed and pastel drawing classes taught by a local artist). In 1980 I moved to Siena to take university courses. Time spent in Tuscany (1980-85) are full of meetings with artists from different backgrounds and origins, and by some of these I had the ‘introduction to the use of oil paint and the push towards the study and representation of the human figure and the nature. I soon began to participate in group exhibition often receiving acclaim, especially for the use of the color, at the time, typically Impressionist. For several years now, driven by an innate propensity, continuous research and study of ‘Contemporary Art, I moved “finally” to “post-informal” painting.
